Directions
for use
Being 100% organic, VFS can be mixed and applied with fertilizers,
pesticides and herbicides. However, do not use with formaldehyde-based
products, as they will retard effectiveness.
When applied
together with chemical fertilizer, it's important to use only
50% of the normal amount of fertilizer to achieve optimum results.
The product
should be sprayed on in diluted form at the standard rate of one
part concentrate to 100-150 parts water. To 1 litre of product
add 100-150 litres of water and mix well. Apply at a rate of 100
litres of dilution per hectare (10,000sqm or 2.5 acres).
If used without
chemical fertilizer, coverage should be reduced to half a hectare
(5,000 sqm or 1.25 acres). You can use organic fertilizers or
slurry to enhance yield further.
For best results
- Apply whenever
you fertilize, or two or three times during the growing season.
- Ideally
apply during damp or wet conditions.
- Avoid using
product when below 5°C.
- For optimum
growth, the soil pH should be 5.5 - 7.5.
- When mixing
with fertilizer, dilute VFS at the standard rate (1 part product
to 100 parts water) and always reduce the amount of fertilizer
normally used by at least 50%.
IMPORTANT:
Store out of direct sunlight or ultra violet light and at temperatures
between 0-20°C.
Once mixed, the solution should be used within 3 days.
